Job Description
JPI has an immediate opening for a Testing Coordinator / Project Manager with at least five to seven (5-7) years professional experience with emphasis on project management and test coordination. The successful candidate will have experience in maintaining project plans, updating master schedules, scheduling meetings, follow on tasks, and providing updates to stakeholders as needed; coordinate testing efforts for each sprint/release cycle including test plans and related tasks (specifically develop testing plans, regression plans, acceptance criteria, test schedules and related tasks). In this role, serve as a project manager and testing specialist for a GSA initiative, openly communicate with clients for status updates and test planning, and work directly with the development team to ensure all requirements are to specifications. Provide updates as needed to various stakeholder organizations.

Client Service Delivery (90%):
- Maintains Project Plans
- Updates Integrated Master Schedules
- Schedules and facilitates meetings
- Coordinates with the development team and stakeholders to properly implement all system updates and enhancements
- Analyzes client needs within business processes for all applications to ensure requirements are understood and documented to present to the development team
- Conducts analysis of systems, including diagnosis and correction of faults, and proposes solutions
- Develop testing plans, regression plans, acceptance criteria, test schedules and related tasks
- Manages all development testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts
- Creates and documents use cases, test cases, test plans and other supporting testing documentation
- Handles tier 2 support issues and communicates with end users to reconcile any production issues
- Conducts presentation and demos of new releases to stakeholders
- Works with stakeholders and the development team to triage production issues and coordinate the Testing efforts once issues are fixed
- Act as primary point of contact when handling customer inquiries
- Verify all requirements are tested and tracked through a Requirements Traceability Matrix
- Creates Test Analysis Reports and conducts Test Readiness Reviews
- Supports production of deliverables, ensuring timely submission
Business Development (5%):
- Positively represents JPI to different clients through clear articulation of JPI’s value proposition;
- Develops client relationships and communication channels that provide insight into BD opportunities;
- Identifies alignment of JPI solutions to client needs
Personnel and Team Development (5%) – As Needed:
- Develops and mentors personnel to ensure career aspirations are understood
- Assists with the career development of staff
- Identifies training opportunities and appropriate certifications for staff to pursue
Requirements
- At least five to seven (5-7) years’ experience in Project Management and Quality Assurance;
- Deep understanding of Agile, ITIL, SDLC, SELC and CMMI principles
- Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing
- Experience working with government human resources and financial applications
- Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in large geographically dispersed team settings to include close collaborat ion with internal program managers
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google tools
- Bachelor’s degree
- Clearance: Holds current clearance / active HSPD-12 credentials preferred.
